This class is world civilization. We don’t have an actual teacher to teach us, but we take an online class. This is valuable for my future because we are learning about other century’s and the problems they went through and how they overcome those problems. We had to finish lessons and units and at the end of all units we took a cumulative exam. The cumulative exam is a test with questions about all the lessons to see whether what you learned. It was an online class. We had to watch multiple videos due to the lesson and we also had to take notes. After the videos and notes we had to do an online assignment which basically helps us prepare for the quiz. We have quizzes depending on the lessons and after that whole unit we take a unit test.I transferred here from another school. I had a lot of missing assignments due do that. I had to do a lot of lessons in one day to make sure I was catching up.I learned about the different centuries and how life was for them. Either if it was good or if it was bad. I also learned how to be more precise with an online course. In my opinion I think I did about average in this class. I found this online course easy because we could take notes while the video was playing and the resources were helpful. The first SLO i demonstrated in this class was using the 21st century. I tok notes in the computer and this class is an online class, so everything was in technology. Another skill I think I mastered is mastering skills needed in career and college because some colleges have online courses and I took an online course. The 2 SLOs I demonstrated are important because it will give me more knowledge.A SLO I think I could have demonstrated better is thinking critically and creatively. I could have demonstrated it better by putting more ideas. Two of the most important thinks I have learned are how to manage my online classes and the causes and effects of problems in the past. The skills I have learned in this class will help me in the future because I will have more knowledge.
