During the class of Video Production, the learning objectives are learning the different types of shot types and learning how to move the camera while recording. This is valuable to my future because the project that I am submitting as an artifact for Video Production had the following learning objectives, learning how to use movement while recording and learning different types of shot types. These link back to the course learning objectives by being able to achieve it. The assignment or project was about learning and practicing the different types of shot types. It required me to carefully observe and practice the different shot types. Of course there were some which I had to remake. The Process I went through to do this project and meet the learning objectives first started with Mr.Richards explaining to us the different types. I had to define them and add video examples as well as pictures. After I was done it was my turn to record the different shot types. Throughout this process listed above I have realized I have learned or grown in the following ways; being able to create and set a standard for my videos. These link back to the course goals and project goals with the following evidence of learning different types of shot types. This tells me the following about myself and how I learn visually. I need to see examples in order to comprehend what I am supposed to do. The Two School Wide Learning Outcomes I demonstrated with this Artifact are Applying technological skills for the 21st century and Thinking critically and creatively. I have demonstrated Applying technological skills for the 21st century in the artifact by using a camera to record my videos. I transferred them to my chromebook after. This is important because technology is very important to our generation and we use it all the time. The Second SLO I demonstrated was thinking critically and creatively by showing what I could create through videos. This is important because I demonstrated my creative side through the videos. I could have improved the SLO Representing self, school and community through personal responsibility and global citizenship, better because I didn't think I really expressed myself in the videos. I didn't push my limits. Overall the most important things I have learned in this class this quarter are learning how to record videos while having. I also learned the different types of shot types, I never thought there were so many. These skills I have learned in this class will help me in the future as a small job opportunity.
