The project was about showing the photoshop skills and the different types of shots I learned in semester 2. It required me to meet the following learning objective; Students will be able to use transitions, keyframes, and titles in their projects along with students will be able to create videos with moods, themes, and emotions in mind that affect and communicate with the viewer. The Process I went through to do this project and meet the learning objectives first started with our Video Production teacher, Mr. Richards, showing us inspiration and other examples of high-quality montages. Then he gave us 2 youtube videos on how to add keyframes and text shapes. Most of the video clips I took were from the beach and the other clips were from my backyard with my puppy. One of the requirements was to edit to the beat, I couldn’t decide which song I wanted to use, I ended up mixing the 2 songs together which turned out really nice. After, I had my song of choice I could rearrange my clips and edit to the beat. I added keyframes and text effects to show I had learned how to use premiere pro. The evidence I have used to meet the project goals link back to the course objectives and project goals with the following evidence of using premiere pro to edit, adding transitions, and adding keyframes along with text effects. Not only did my technical (hard) skills improve but my soft skills as well which will help me in the future. Throughout this process listed above, I have realized I have learned or grown in the following ways; not giving up even when editing is not my strongest skill and being able to show my creativity through video production.I have improved in the following transferable skills to add to my skills inventory; editing videos, time management, working under pressure and working on a single project for hours. These could apply to careers in the film industry and nursing industry. I have demonstrated the first SLO as a self-directed learner who communicates effectively in the artifact by demonstrating by showing my creativity through a video project. Along with the music choice and the edits show a part of myself and I was able to express myself through this project. This is important because as further projects continue the way I communicate through projects will increase. The Second SLO I demonstrated was applying technological skills for the 21st century by doing the editing through a software app on a computer. Along with doing distance learning and communicating with my teachers through technology. This is important because as the years pass technology is always improving and evolving. In our generation we use technology everyday (most of us) and it is impacting us greatly and changing the way we live. Overall, the highlight reel project has helped me grow. Not only with improving my editing skills and soft skills skills as well, but it has helped me grow as a person. This project was one of the most important projects, even though I am not as good at editing I didn't give up and at the end my project turned out incredible. This has taught me to not give up when something is challenging, it is worth the try and at the end it will be worth it.

Shot types ROL <3
During the class of Video Production, the learning objectives are learning the different types of shot types and learning how to move the camera while recording. This is valuable to my future because the project that I am submitting as an artifact for Video Production had the following learning objectives, learning how to use movement while recording and learning different types of shot types. These link back to the course learning objectives by being able to achieve it. The assignment or project was about learning and practicing the different types of shot types. It required me to carefully observe and practice the different shot types. Of course there were some which I had to remake. The Process I went through to do this project and meet the learning objectives first started with Mr.Richards explaining to us the different types. I had to define them and add video examples as well as pictures. After I was done it was my turn to record the different shot types. Throughout this process listed above I have realized I have learned or grown in the following ways; being able to create and set a standard for my videos. These link back to the course goals and project goals with the following evidence of learning different types of shot types. This tells me the following about myself and how I learn visually. I need to see examples in order to comprehend what I am supposed to do. The Two School Wide Learning Outcomes I demonstrated with this Artifact are Applying technological skills for the 21st century and Thinking critically and creatively. I have demonstrated Applying technological skills for the 21st century in the artifact by using a camera to record my videos. I transferred them to my chromebook after. This is important because technology is very important to our generation and we use it all the time. The Second SLO I demonstrated was thinking critically and creatively by showing what I could create through videos. This is important because I demonstrated my creative side through the videos. I could have improved the SLO Representing self, school and community through personal responsibility and global citizenship, better because I didn't think I really expressed myself in the videos. I didn't push my limits. Overall the most important things I have learned in this class this quarter are learning how to record videos while having. I also learned the different types of shot types, I never thought there were so many. These skills I have learned in this class will help me in the future as a small job opportunity.
